Charles Burton

Charlie Burton is the 5th Generation owner of the i.g. Burton Auto Dealerships. A Graduate of Roanoke College, Charlie initially did not work in the family business. He pursued a career in the automotive finance and insurance business working for Ryan Associates for several years. One day in the 90s, Charlie got a call asking him to come back and run the family business. Since then, he has taken ownership and expanded the company to what it is today. He is most proud of the growth of his employees. "It's a great feeling knowing you give your employees the opportunities to develop and grow and be successful."

MJ Lofland
Vice President / COO

MJ Lofland has been with the i.g. Burton auto group since 1995. He is the first person in company history to hold co-ownership of an i.g. Burton dealership since the company's establishment in 1908. In 2021, he joined Charlie Burton - President of i.g. Burton Auto Group - in purchasing i.g. Burton of Newark. Over the years has been the Director of First Impressions, Sales Professional, Salesperson, Sales Manager, and General Manager. In 2007 he was promoted to the Operations Management Team as Director of Sales. Today, MJ is the Vice President/Chief Operating Officer of i.g. Burton Auto Group. In his spare time, MJ enjoys hunting and spending time with his family.

Juliana Swinford

Lisa DiVincenzo
Executive Manager

Lisa started her automotive career in 1999 working at a private repair shop where she wore many hats, including receptionist, car washer, parts person, and customer service representative. It was there that her love for the automotive business began. After a few years, she applied for a job at a local dealership and started as the Service Receptionist before becoming a Service Advisor, and then Service Manager. Her love for all things outdoors eventually drew her to the Delaware beach area. In 2008 she joined i.g. Burton as the BMW Service Manager. After working at i.g. Burton BMW for over a decade, she earned the opportunity to be part of the i.g. Burton Auto Group Executive Management team. When away from the dealership, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing with their two dogs, traveling, camping, and paddleboarding.

Bernadette Jasmine
Executive Manager

Bernadette Jasmine joined the Executive Management Team of i.g. Burton Auto Group in July 2019. She is currently the acting HR Director. Bernadette has over ten years of experience in the automotive industry previously working for General Motors as a District Manager. Prior to the automotive business, she worked for a town government and ran a daycare center. Bernadette enjoys family time on the beach, fishing, and kayaking.

Jaime Parker

Jaime Parker joined the i.g. Burton team as Human Resources Manager in January 2023. She has two Bachelor's degrees: one in Business and another in Marketing, and she has been working in the HR field since 2016. Jaime is passionate about helping people with their careers - before and after obtaining employment. Jaime has a Daughter, Kendall, and two beloved dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys trips to the beach, running, singing, hunting, and traveling.

Greg Gilmore
Service Director - Imports

Greg has been in the car business since 1996. he has held many positions in the car business, parts delivery driver, Warranty Administrator, Service Advisor, Service Manager, and Service Director. When he is not working, Greg enjoys time with his four children, and 4 grandchildren.

Caleb Ashley
Parts Director

Caleb started with i.g. Burton Auto Group in 2007. Since then, he has held several positions, including Service Porter, Parts Advisor, Parts Manager, and Import Parts Director. He feels that i.g. Burton is a great company to work for because it has helped him grow his love for the automotive industry. Caleb is now Parts Director for all i.g. Burton Auto Group locations. In his time away from work, he likes visiting Delaware beaches with friends and family, touring local breweries, and spending time with his dog.



Kurt Retzlaff
General Manager

Kurt is the General Manager for i.g. Burton BMW. He's a veteran of the automobile industry, with over three decades of experience, most of which has been with i.g. Burton. Kurt first started his career washing and parking cars on the lot. Working for an organization that promoted from within, eventually, Kurt moved his way through the ranks holding positions such as a BMW and Mercedes-Benz technician, a detailer, BMW Client Advisor, Internet Sales Associate, and now the BMW General Manager. A native Delawarean with strong-German roots, Kurt enjoys traveling with his wife to his father's homeland of Bavaria and her home country of Italy. Kurt describes his approach to customer service as inviting, relaxed, informative, and easy to work with. This focused approach is indicative of the i.g. Burton BMW experience. We pride ourselves on creating an atmosphere where customers can enjoy themselves, whether their first or their hundredth time visiting.

Jay Fausnaught
Sales Manager

Jay Fausnaught has been selling cars in the Milford area for 21 years and decided to join i.g. Burton in January 2010. He prides himself in customer satisfaction and making buying process a stress-free experience. When Jay isn't at the dealership, he enjoys spending time with his wife and his two sons.

Rick Marine
BMW Finance Manager

Rick has been in the automotive industry for over two decades, with a large portion of that at i.g. Burton. When Rick isn't at work delivering an exceptional customer experience, he enjoys playing music, camping, and traveling.



Nate Robinson
Client Advisor

Nate has been in the sales industry for over a decade. He's originally from New Haven, Connecticut. When Nate's not working, he enjoys traveling, playing basketball, and attending car shows. Nate prides himself on providing exceptional customer service to every client. Nate believes his outgoing personality and strong passion for cars allow him to offer an outstanding experience to every client. 

Robert Gallagher
Client Advisor

Robert Gallagher, better known as Bob, has over three decades in the customer experience and sales industries. Bob has a wealth of knowledge in the auto industry, providing a hands-on approach when working with customers as a BMW Client Advisor and Genius. Bob grew up on Long Island, NY, and attended the University of Delaware, where he studied Criminal Justice. Bob also earned a Varsity letter on the University of Delaware Men's Lacrosse team and ranked 12th in the country his senior year. When Bob isn't working with his clients, he enjoys spending time at the beach with his family, officiating boy's high school lacrosse in the various regional divisions, and of course, still running up and down the field himself as a player with Team Harley.

Asena Darcin
Client Advisor

Asena has been in the automotive industry since 2019. She's also a certified BMW Genius. When Asena is away from the dealership, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and going to car shows. Asena is always happy and outgoing. Asena loves ///M Models and believes "M is the most powerful letter in the world." She's a true BMW enthusiast!

Tom Bashtarz

Tom Bashtarz's enthusiasm for BMWs has been in his family for years. As a BMW Car Club of America (CCA) member, Tom has enjoyed some driver training classes that help him show off BMW as The Ultimate Driving Machine. Coming from customer service in finance and a decade in emergency services, Tom is no stranger to the customer service mindset. He loves connecting customers with the right vehicle to improve their lives on the road. A self-labeled 'tax refugee' from New Jersey, Tom has embraced Delaware as his home and enjoys sporty driving, singing in the church choir, dad jokes, blue claw crabs, home projects, and restoring his classic 7 and 8 Series. Tom feels the only thing better than enjoying his BMWs is helping his clients find the right one!

David Sheetz

Dan grew up working on the family cars in the driveway with his Father. When he was young, Dan would hold the flashlight, and his Father would do the work. As Dan grew, he began to do the work, and his Father would hold the flashlight. That turned into Dan's first job at a tire store and a summer internship at a Chevrolet dealership. His parents moved to Delaware, and Dan stayed in Pennsylvania and graduated high school working odd jobs at gas stations and body shops. Dan feels that most of his success in life has involved cars in one form or another. Dan has moved between Pennsylvania and Delaware, always working on cars. With over three decades of experience, he's held positions such as Technician, Oldsmobile & Chevrolet Master tech, Service writer, Body Shop Estimator, Assistant Manager, and Used Parts Sales Consultant. He now works in Warranty Administration here at i.g. Burton BMW. He's raised four children, one with special needs, and has four grandchildren. In his time away from work, Dan enjoys riding his motorcycle.

Ronnie has been with i.g. Burton since 2010, when he started as the Director of First Impressions for both our BMW and Mercedes-Benz stores before moving on to the role of Parts Advisor. When he's not working, Ronnie enjoys spending time with friends and family, going for long walks on the beach, enjoying a local craft beverage, and defeating the i.g. Burton Berlin Parts Department in the first-ever i.g. Burton golf tournament, along with help from the rest of the BMW parts team and our BMW Shop Foreman David VanPelt.
